Came across the following picture and thought it was a decent way of becoming an automatic player.  There have been sometimes where I have done this instead of looking for that spot on the ball.  A lot of times I will visualize the path the object ball will take before figuring out where to aim.  It is almost like I am able to see the path on the felt that the ball will follow.
